626 Night Market 2nd Event

This past Saturday July 28, 2012, 626 Night Market held it's second event at the City Hall in Pasadena. Although Mad Mochi did not have a vendor booth this time around, we certainly jumped in on the fun, food, entertainment, and ultimate Asian night market experience. There were many complaints about the past first event being overly crowded and many people not being to purchase any food at all. This time, I'd say it was quite a success. Not only was parking easier to find, but the 626 Night Market volunteer staff made sure to control the customer lines which also prevented any walking traffic jams. There were a ton more vendors and lots of delicious variety of food. Overall, the night market experience, although not exactly the same as the ones in Asia, definitely exceeded our expectations.

Our dear friends Alice and Doris from iLootPaperie have been showcasing their ridiculously fun and cute greeting card designs at the local NativeLA flea markets in Los Angeles three times a year. They are what you call lean mean card-making machines. We've been telling them that we'd stop by for how long now, and we finally kept our word this past Sunday at the NativeLA Summer Roof Party. I finally got a chance to sit down and post the photos from our booth at the insane 626 Night Market event in Pasadena, CA this past weekend. Despite being fighting horrific traffic coming to the event, finding limited parking, and squeezing through the massive crowd like sardines, we were happy to see so many family and friends coming to support the new Mad Mochi apparel line at our booth. We also got to meet several new friends and now have a few extra supporting fans too...woohoo! I want to thank each and one you for coming out. Preparing for the Big Event

Long day, long night preparing for this Saturday's event at the 626 Night Market. Creating custom displays, finishing up merchandise, and setting up the booth for a practice run, all before the rain came pouring. Now I only hope the rain will go away before 5pm on 4/14! Fun stuff as always.
